To describe the hard work and motivation behind David’s achievements and knowledge is quite difficult to put into words. With over 10 years of experience within Public Practice and as the founder and Managing Partner he is an invaluable asset to clients and the team at TF.
Prior to establishing TF Partners, David worked at a mid-tier Accounting Firm where his clientele consisted of listed and private entities that were based locally and internationally. It wasn’t long before career-driven David decided to follow his dream of being able to service his own portfolio of clients, with his main motivations being to meet good people, do good business and to use his knowledge and skills to help people achieve their goals.
In his own words “The most satisfaction I get, is being able to help my clients. I make sure they have complete access to me, and my knowledge and I ensure I am always here for them, especially in times of need”.
Through working with his clients, David identified that they possessed a common need in order to grow their personal and business wealth. This was how the TF Finance division came to light. With his vast knowledge and experience in financing activities through his own personal experience and by assisting clients, David and the team developed the finance function to add to the TF portfolio. This was to achieve the overall goal, which is to ensure a high-quality process for clients and provide a full scope services.
David has achieved numerous successful outcomes for his clients through guiding them with their general business requirements and providing specialist advice on various issues. Some of the highlights in David’s career consist of helping clients to grow from a small start- up to a business with an annual turnover of $50Mil. He has also assisted with many offshore expansions for large organisations.
In addition to working with his clients, David has successfully mentored many up and coming Accountants and is the driving force behind his high performing and outcome focused team. He truly takes the time with people and the high level of care he takes with his clients and employees is clear in his day to day dealings. David is highly respected and regarded industry wide and it speaks volumes that majority of his clientele come to him via word of mouth.
Whilst completing his Bachelor Degree, Ben worked in a local coffee shop where he learnt how to develop great relationships and customer service that still assist him today. Upon finishing his degree, Ben started his professional working life as an Accountant within the Public Practise sector, gaining a post-graduate CA Certificate working as a Senior Accountant.
Throughout his time as an Accountant he gained and demonstrated a substantial understanding of client’s personal circumstances along with business structures and operations. Having a strong commercial and business sense along with a can-do attitude, he has gained the trust of his clients allowing him to assist them across all aspects of their business. This knowledge and experience has greatly assisted him in stepping into the Finance Broking industry.
Ben was one of the founders of the Finance division at TF Partners and prides himself on guiding clients through the lending process from the very beginning to the end. He is trustworthy and honest and truly has peoples’ best interests at heart. His approachability combined with advanced technical business knowledge enables him to assist clients with personal home loans, asset lending and business loans. Whether you are a salary and wage earner or someone with a complex business and asset structure, Ben is able to assist.
Biljana is the Associate Partner of Outsourcing at TF Partners. Before joining the team, Biljana completed her Masters Degree in Professional Accounting while working in Marketing and Sales.
Biljana is an innovative and driven accounting professional. She has strong interpersonal skills and confidence that comes with the knowledge she gained from years of experience working with professionals around her. Her passion is management and tax and she takes pride in her ability to provide complex tax advice to clients. Biljana has been preparing and analysing detailed management reports with clients that want to understand their business, track their progress and succeed in achieving their goals.
Her tax and business knowledge has assisted her in successfully dealing with government regulation agencies (ATO, SRO, Worksafe) on behalf of clients regarding issues ranging from remissions of substantial penalties and interest charges to complex payment arrangement negotiations, reviews and audits.
It’s Biljana’s unique ability to communicate and bridge the gap between what has been done and what others say can’t be accomplished that makes her stand out above the rest when it comes to her leadership and abilities.
Lucy Clark has been with TF Partners since its initial formation, commencing as a Graduate Accountant in 2013. Whilst at TF Partners Lucy completed her studies to become a member of CAANZ and has grown to be part of the management team. Lucy has been an integral part of training and developing staff to form a cohesively operating team of Accountants and contributes to the energy and positive attitude of the team.
Lucy enjoys providing strategic planning and adding value through her advice to her clients. Lucy has hands on experience with complex business structures, including tax effect accounting for Australian subsidiaries of International consolidated groups, consolidated accounts and forecasts for large group structures. She also conducts extensive analysis of complex group structures and their assessment eligibility for group taxes and small business concessions.
In addition to the above, Lucy specialises in charity’s and non-for- profit organisations to assist them in meeting their reporting obligations with the ATO and Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).
Diana joined TF Partners after working for a number of years at reputable legal and insolvency firms around Melbourne. This provided her with an in depth understanding of day-to-day operations of a business across different industries.
Since starting at TF Partners, she has been able to provide tailored solutions that address her clients’ goals and objectives. She understands that at times, clients need to focus on running their business and her focus is on providing them with the support they need to let them do what they do best. Diana assists with many of our large clients with international subsidiaries and complex group structures. She specialises in researching complex tax solutions for clients and has the ability to connect and communicate with clients in a language they can understand.
Diana is a valuable member of our team and is also hands on in the training and mentoring of staff across the business. She has an extraordinary work ethic and is a driving force behind the implementation of good habits and operational processes for our clients.
Stephanie started at TF Partners while completing her Bachelor of Business at Monash University.
At TF Partners, Stephanie has grown professionally and is now a Chartered Accountant. In addition to the preparation of annual tax returns and technical tax advisory, Stephanie specialises in the establishment and maintenance of businesses through ASIC and other government agencies, providing software support and training to clients and navigating the intricate and detailed compliance requirements of Self-Managed Superannuation Funds.
Stephanie prides herself on keeping up to date with new and proposed legislation changes which may affect her clients, allowing her to provide a personalised service.
Before starting at TF Partners, Megan gained invaluable experience from working at a mid-tier law firm as a financial administrator. She worked part time at the law firm while completing her Business & Accounting undergraduate degree at Swinburne University.
At TF Partners, Megan has grown as a professional and continues to expand her knowledge every day. She is a Chartered Accountant, which involved study to develop her technical skills. Megan’s services to clients go beyond simple tax returns and providing tax advice; she has been an integral part of creating and implementing internal accounting procedures for complex business groups. She has experience in preparing consolidated accounts for large groups, which can used to ensure compliance with strict bank covenants. She has also created a range of management reports for numerous clients to assist them with business decisions and operations.
Megan prides herself in being able to provide her clients with personalised advice, by taking the time to getting to know her clients and understand their needs.
Stephanie joined TF Partners shortly after completing her Bachelor of Accounting at La Trobe University, which has allowed her to build on her theoretical knowledge of the field through practical application.
Working at TF Partners has allowed her to not only expand on her professional knowledge but also direct her career as a result of being exposed to various accounting and tax related issues. Stephanie is currently working towards becoming a Chartered Accountant and is seeking to further her knowledge by undertaking an additional degree in tax law. This will provide her with an advanced understanding of the tax legislation which can then be applied to clients specific needs to ensure correct and coherent advice is always offered.
Stephanie is attentive and approachable, always seeking to ensure she understands the needs of clients in order to provide them with a range of advisory services personally tailored to them.
Before becoming an accountant, Michael worked as a Pharmacist Technician at a local Pharmacy. Whilst juggling work and family life, Michael completed his Bachelor of Business (Accounting) at Swinburne University with the goal to move into the Accounting industry. After graduating, Michael obtained a position at a boutique Accounting firm before he landed at TF Partners and is continuing his studies to become a Chartered Accountant.
At TF Partners, Michael has gained invaluable experience and knowledge by working alongside clients from different industries and walks of life. Michael has in-depth knowledge of different accounting systems and can assist clients with Xero, MYOB, Sage, Quickbooks and Reckon. Besides being tech-savvy, Michael can assist client with meeting all their compliance needs and add value by using his technical tax knowledge.
Michael prides himself by taking the time to understand clients and providing advice beyond the numbers.
Before coming to TF Partners, Shella worked for a boutique residential apartment and hotel developer for 1.5 years as a Company Accountant. She graduated with a Masters of Professional Accounting from Monash University and is currently undertaking the Chartered Accounting Program which further helps her develop technical skills.
Since joining the team, she has been exposed to various forms of business and individual compliance work including preparation of Financial Statements, tax returns and GST reporting requirements. With the accounting knowledge she has gained from her academic study and practical experience, she is confident in becoming an active member of the team and rendering excellent service to our clients.
Before joining the finance division of TF Partners, John worked for one of the largest loan companies in the UK. He was a Branch Manager responsible for underwriting personal and secured loans and has 8 years of experience working in the finance sector.
At TF Partners, John has made the transition into the Australian finance market and expanded his knowledge to include property loans. John works with the finance team to provide an exceptional level of service to ensure clients realise their ambitions in the property market, expand their business operations and the procurement of new assets.
Maja has been a member of our team at TF Partners since 2017. During her time at TF Partners she has worked within our Finance Division, Reception and Accounts Receivable. She is currently our Office Manager where her role is to assist and support all members of the team in their day to day operations and to keep all processes running smoothly.
She has come to us with 15 plus years of experience in Reception, Accounts Receivable/Payable, Administration and Maintenance Co-ordination across many industries. Maja’s previous work experience makes her a great all-rounder and assists the team by supporting our business operations with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
